Techniques

Dr. Fabry practices both traditional and low force techniques to add motion to restricted joints, decrease your pain, and improve your function.  The technique used depends on the person's diagnosis, age, and condition.

DIVERSIFIED:
Diversified
is a widely used type of chiropractic manipulation/adjustment and is probably the most familiar to patients.  This technique entails a high velocity, low-amplitude thrust delivered by hand.

THOMPSON:
Thompson is a method of adjustment that involves analyzing the length of the legs and uses a "drop table".  A gentle thrust is applied to the joints, which in turn, sets the drop piece into motion and targets the specific joint or tissue.

ACTIVATOR:
An activator is a low force, high speed mechanical adjusting instrument. The force is controlled and applied at a precise and specific line of drive.

BASIC:
Logan Basic Technique is based on light, sustained force exerted against a specific contact point on the sacrum at the base of the spine. The technique uses the muscular structure surrounding the sacrum as a lever system for balancing the entire structure of the spine.

WEBSTER:
Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment which enables chiropractors to establish balance in the pregnant woman's pelvis and reduce undue stress to her uterus and supporting ligaments.
